Weekly Leek #9

Welcome to the ninth Brighter Shores Weekly Leek. We are making great progress with the new side quests and with player to player trading. Creating quests that meet the high standards we have set for ourselves is a challenge, but one which our new team members have taken on with gusto. We are all looking forward to sharing these new stories with you as soon as they are ready.What we've been working on this week
Technical Team
Andrew has been working on:- Player to player trading.
James has been working on:
- Launching game updates.
- Game features to support the new quests in production.
- Reading and replying to support requests and customer complaints.
- Preparing this weekly leek.
- Bug fixes.
Ian has been working on:
- Improvements to the map design tool and NPC design tool.
Content Team
Paul has been working on:- Reward design (pre-graphics) for the Mine of Mantuban 7 ⭐️ quest.
- Reviewing the story coding for all the quests in production.
Samuel has been working on:
- Riding roller coasters.
Daniel has been working on:
- Technical coding (pre-graphics) for the Hopeforest 6 ⭐️ quest boss.
- Story coding (pre-graphics) for the Hopeforest 6 ⭐️ quest. Specifically, polishing the quest flow and adding cutscenes.
Haaris has been working on:
- Story coding (pre-graphics) for the Crenopolis 4 ⭐️ quest.
Steve has been working on:
- Story coding (pre-graphics) for the Mine of Mantuban 4 ⭐️ quest. Primarily polishing quest dialogue and adding more cutscenes.
Graphics Team
Greg has been working on:- Graphics and concept art for the Mine of Mantuban 6 ⭐️ quest.
- Discussing the graphics required for the Hopeforest 6 ⭐️ quest with Daniel.
Nic has been working on:
- Graphics for the Mine of Mantuban 6 ⭐️ quest.
- Discussing the graphics required for the Hopeforest 6 ⭐️ quest with Daniel.

Lewis has been working on:
- Graphics for the Hopeforest 3 ⭐️ quest.
Audio Team
Joe has been working on:- Finishing the twelfth global music track.
- Starting the thirteenth global music track.
Infographics
You may spot that the 'Story coding (pre-graphics)' step for the Hopeforest 6 ⭐️ quest has gone back to in progress. This is because we realized that we could do more of the story coding on this quest pre-graphics, and have updated the infographic to reflect that.
